Kevin and Charlene Oligschlaeger are done horsing around and have built Horsin ‘O’ Round Stables and Equestrian Center. It has been said that “if you build it they will come”, and students have been coming to Charlene for lessons since 1999. Charlene was raised in Arizona and has ridden horses since age three. She grew up helping her father break/train horses and worked as a ranch hand during seasonal cattle round ups for local area ranchers. Charlene has also participated in various amateur rodeo events as a youth. Currently, Charlene teaches over 65 students during the year and has more students on a waiting list.
Kevin and Charlene feel like they have more to offer the community and horse enthusiasts…
Horsin ‘O’ Round Stables and Equestrian Center is designed around a 100’ by 150’ horse barn with indoor riding arena and stables built on thirty eight acres of pasture land. Horsin ‘O’ Round is located off of Scott Station Lane which is a convenient 2 miles from Jefferson City limits, and the Capital Mall. The ability to board a horse with Horsin ‘O’ Round allows those who do not have acreage for their horse to learn how to ride, groom and care for the horse without having to travel great distances from the Jefferson City area.
